چکیده
Abstract In this study, the impacts of irrigation water quality and soil characteristics on paddy rice yields were investigated. Standard spectroscopy spectrometry methods used to analyze irrigated samples. The had sodium adsorption ratio (SAR) values ranging from 0 3. corresponding electrical conductivity (EC) between 0.2 0.7 dS/m accounted for 14% all samples—posing slight moderate infiltration problem. Neither Na + nor Cl − levels high enough cause toxicity problems in water. For B, 54% samples found have whereas ~ indicated severe B bicarbonate, about 86 slight-to-moderate potential detrimental effect plant growth, respectively. All trace elements too low any harmful effect. Although EC, organic carbon (OC), pH favorable level, there standard deviation ( SD ) Fe Zn. mean value soils was 19.8 mg/kg, indicating signs Fe-deficiency. High also total N (TN) content studied soils. Furthermore, a K observed analyzed Appropriate fertilizer application improving nutrient deficiencies study area is highly recommended. on-farm management practices need be guided by scientific findings present as well other studies.

Measurement of Vertical Water Percolation Through Different Soil Textures of Paddy Field During Rice Growth Season
The water percolation loss beyond root zone in the soil is one of the important parameters to determine water requirement of rice plant. If the amount of water percolation rate into the soil is estimated more carefully, determination of water requirement will be evaluated better and designing for system of irrigation, drainage and related establishments will be more easily done. The purpose of ...

متن کاملRICE QUALITY AND PROCESSING Impacts of Thickness Grading on Milling Yields of Long-Grain Rice
As variations in kernel uniformity can affect rice milling performance, limited thickness-grading to remove thin kernels was evaluated for effects on milling yields. Along with unfractioned (UNF) rice of four long-grain cultivars, rough rice was mechanically sieved, resulting in two thickness fractions, Thick (>0.079 inch) and Thin (<0.079 inch). Milled rice yield (MRY) and head rice yield (HRY...
متن کاملArsenic Tracking in Iranian Rice: Analysis of Agricultural Soil and Water, Unpolished Rice and White Rice
Since rice is a staple food most consumed world-wide, there have been increasing health concerns regarding exposure to arsenic through rice consumption. Several studies have reported the accumulation of arsenic in rice grains cultivated in regions with elevated levels of arsenic in groundwater or contaminated soil. Therefore the principal aim of this study was determining the amount of arsenic ...
